What are some good ninja/samurai movies?

I’m not looking for little kids movies (although I am quite fond of the turtles, myself), but for some good adult movies. I’m not gonna put a minimum or maximum on the ratings, but I just want to say I’m not looking for a child’s movie. Thank you!

    Ninja Assassin and of Jet Li or Bruce Lee movies.
    also there are many Japanese and Chinese movies that you may like.

    hero. the last samurai. house of flying daggers is awesome! and so is crouching tiger hidden dragon.

    ninja assassin was pretty awesome for a ninja movie….the story sucked but as for action and blood and guts and awesome ninja stuff…it was amazing…beyond that your kinda stuck to the ninja movies of the 80′s and 90s and Japanese movies
