Ninjutsu Scroll Study Series Part 1! Everyone of these videos will be a 2 part video: Part 1 — Mr. Cummins talking about the kanji of the ancient scrolls and historical records! Here is a very short video of the kamajutsu kuden event that we held earlier this month. In this event we talked about the birth and the use of the weapon. We also looked at the Kusarigama too. Budo Ryu Ninjutsu Dojo – SHURIKENJUTSU – 手裏剣術

Shurikenjutsu (手裏剣術) is a general term describing the traditional Japanese martial arts of throwing blades called shuriken. Shuriken, which are small, hand-held weapons used in feudal Japan of the samurai and ninja. Shurikenjutsu was usually taught among the sogo-bugei, or comprehensive martial arts systems of Japan, as a supplemental art to those more commonly practiced such as kenjutsu, sojutsu, bōjutsu and kumi-uchi (battlefield grappling) or jujutsu, and is much less prevalent today than it was in the feudal era.
