Must he chose a successor after him to become Grandmaster??? I have intention to go and learn the art of ninjutsu later on (like in 10 yeras perhaps) and I was wondering if he would chose a successor to him.

Thanks!
or perhaps 7 years… (because I’m still 13)
I can’t really afford to live in Japan at my age T___T

Um… good luck with the ninjutsu.
But I’ve never heard of a grandmaster choosing a successor. Typically, grandmaster ranks are earned and awarded, not "bestowed" per se.

13 is a good age to start any martial arts.

No he doesn’t have to choose a successor. After he dies, all his top students will fight to the d3ath in a secret underground tournament and the
last one left standing becomes his successor : P

You can start Ninjutsu now, you don’t have to live in Japan to train, here are some websites for you to check out: http://www.winjutsu.com, http://www.skhquest.com, also do a google on genbukan, you can also check out http://www.impactninjutsu.com. As for who will be the 35th Soke, we have no idea of who it will be, yes he will choose a successor, rumor even has it that he might choose no one. I wish you luck on your path.

Well, Soke Hatsumi hasn’t named a successor. It’s really as simple as that. Now, will he? Lord knows…but most likely. To put it quite simply, none of us know, considering we’re not him. You’d have to ask the man himself.

Who will it be? Who knows, and frankly, who cares? I’ve trained with a number of the Japanese Bujinkan Shihan and gotten wisdom and skillsets from all of them in differing ways.

That same principle applies from any of the teachers around the globe, not just solely within Japan itself.
